T-1 Grand Prix

The Kakegawa Tea Promotion Association hosts the T-1 Grand Prix, which has been held 15 times so far.
It is a tea competition for elementary school students. Participants compete in their knowledge of tea and brewing techniques to determine the Japanese tea champion. The event was planned
by Kakegawa City with the hope that "everyone will learn more about delicious Japanese tea and deepen their appreciation for health, family togetherness, and hospitality."
The competition consists of three tea-related events, including a tea quiz, tea type identification, and tea brewing skills judging, with the winner determined by the total score.
Recruitment is conducted through public announcements and LINE.
The "T" in T-1 Grand Prix stands for "tea," which is the English word for tea.
