This museum primarily houses collections of Edo period tobacco accessories, netsuke, and sword guards, as well as modern Japanese paintings from the Meiji era. It
also features works by famous Japanese painters such as Yokoyama Taikan, Ito Shinsui, Takeuchi Seiho, and Hayami Gyoshu.
The collection was donated by a businessman from Kakegawa City.
Those who appreciate inlaid work will find the intricate crafts, such as the kiseru pipes, particularly enjoyable. It is also recommended for foreign visitors.
