Takenomaru Sweets Cafe

Takenomaru was built in 1903 as the main residence of the Matsumoto family, who ran the Matsuya kudzu cloth wholesale business, which had been in operation since the Edo period.
Kudzu cloth is a traditional textile of Kakegawa.
You can enjoy "CHABATAKE," a cake made with tea and Shiranui oranges from Kakegawa, as well as drinks made with ingredients from Kakegawa.
It is located within Kakegawa Castle Park.
Please relax and enjoy your time at Takenomaru, a designated cultural property of Kakegawa City.
