This is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop that has been in Kakegawa-juku for about 200 years. It is famous for its Furisode Mochi (a type of rice cake) and is popular with the locals.
Also, around May, their Kashiwa Mochi (rice cake wrapped in oak leaves) is delicious and popular.
