We decided to create this site after hearing from someone at the Kakegawa Chamber of Commerce that there was no page for inbound tourists about Kakegawa matcha. While
there are other famous matcha producing areas such as Uji and Nishio, Kakegawa is famous for its deep-steamed tea and is a type of matcha from Shizuoka Prefecture, so it has different characteristics.
We would be happy if more people both domestically and internationally could learn about "Kakegawa matcha."
In addition to matcha, we also created this product to introduce the merits of "deep-steamed sencha," a major industry of Kakegawa, and "Japanese black tea," with its beautiful, vibrant red color, to a wider audience
I previously worked at a tea shop, and my grandfather was a tea farmer, so I used to pick tea leaves often. I live a life deeply connected to tea.
