Tenryu-Hamanako Line(Train)

The Tenryu-Hamanako Line (commonly known as the Tenham Line) is a railway line operated by Tenryu-Hamanako Railway Co., Ltd., connecting Kakegawa Station to Shinjobara Station in Kosai City.It is a local line that runs along the northern shore of Lake Hamana, with the former Japanese National Railways Futamata Line as its predecessor. The scenery along the line features the nostalgic rural landscape of Japan. You can also enjoy the scenery of Okahamana Lake. 

At Tenryu Futamata Station, there is a turntable and a fan-shaped depot, which are open for viewing.

There are also wrapped trains featuring designs from Yuru Camp△, Evangelion, and Marimekko, and along the line, there are many registered tangible cultural properties of Bunko. Various services such as one-day passes are available. A leisurely railway journey is also recommended!
